Dynamic Catholic says, “Don't let the Advent wreath become just another tradition without any meaning behind it! Use this time as a family to deepen your understanding and appreciation of the Advent season. Make lighting the Advent Wreath a time for meaningful connections and discussions with your loved ones.” Click the picture below for a beautiful Advent Wreath Blessing and weekly Scriptures and prayers.
Dynamic Catholic also has several Catholic Activities for families this Advent. “Advent, as a season of preparation, offers a wonderful opportunity for your family to engage in activities that create a deeper connection to the true meaning of Christmas. This year choose one or two activities that resonate with your family, and keep the focus on the spiritual significance of the season.” Click the picture below to start your families Advent adventure.
Welcome to our Family Advent Retreat. We have two different retreats for you and your family to participate in based on the age range of your family. If you have little ones in your household, we would suggest the junior retreat. For our older families with teens, the main retreat will be your best option. You are always welcome to view all of the resources from both retreats if you are interested and decide which one is best for your family.
Each retreat is designed to take no longer than an hour (this does not include collecting supplies for the craft activities) so we encourage your family to schedule a time where everyone can fully participate in each activity together. You can of course always add to these retreats by attending daily Mass, going to confession, spending time in Eucharistic Adoration together, or adding a service project element.
