Brendan McInerny has graciously volunteered to offer a great series on modern saints for the parish. Each presentation will cover one modern saint and will be offered in the Community Room on Thursdays from 6:30 – 7:30 pm. No preparation is necessary! The dates for the presentations are listed below. Here is the blurb that Brendan sent for his mini-course on modern saints.
In Modern Saints, Brendan will explore the lives and spirituality of men and women canonized or on the path of canonization in the Catholic Church from the last century. These saints reveal the rich variety of sanctity in the very complex and very messy contemporary world. Special focus will be given to lesser-known and lay holy men and women. Come to any or all sessions. No extra reading is required. Again, sessions will run on Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 pm in the Community Room. All sessions will also be livestreamed!
