Seven Sisters Apostolate
Seven Sisters Apostolate is for any given parish that will commence when seven women commit to offering of a holy hour exclusively for their parish Pastor (or another priest).
Each woman will have a distinct day of the week, thus covering a complete week. The commitment of each intercessor is to the day of the week versus a particular hour on a particular day. The hour is ideally prayed in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament - either in an Adoration Chapel or in front of a Tabernacle - but not restricted to the parish for which the Seven Sister is a member. So you can be faithful to the holy hour of prayer when traveling or obtain a substitute.
The commitment to prayer is ideally for a period of one year (June - June). This apostolate is not exclusive. We emphasize, the hour is offered solely for the intentions of the priest (with the idea of "lavishing" him with prayers and graces).
This apostolate has been spreading very quickly in several states as well as other countries. It was started by Janette Howe at the Cathedral and we now have over 300 Seven Sisters just in our diocese alone. Priests NEED and rely on our prayers.
