We’ll stop in Sleepy Eye, where we’ll celebrate Mass at St. Mary’s Parish. We’ll tour this grand church with its lofty steeples and gothic architecture. Schoenstatt on the Lake is where we’ll visit the Family Jubilee Shrine, one of the daughter shrines of the Schoenstatt Movement and a place of grace. We’ll picnic on their peaceful grounds. Then we’ll journey to Walnut Grove to tour the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum and enjoy a slice of pie from Nellie’s Café in the park and visit the Dugout on the shores of Plum Creek.
