Curious about the Catholic faith? You are welcome here, questions, doubts, and all. OCIA, the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (formerly called RCIA), is the Church’s path for adults who want to explore Catholicism and, God willing, be received into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil.
You do not need to have made up your mind to begin. Coming to learn commits you to nothing except an honest look.
What OCIA looks like
St. Therese offers a dynamic program for those seeking to learn more about the Catholic faith. Classes meet on Thursday evenings at the parish, beginning in the fall and continuing through the Easter Vigil in spring. Through dynamic speakers and small-group discussions, we explore the breadth, depth, and richness of the Catholic faith together.

Who OCIA is for
Adults who have never been baptized
Baptized Christians of other traditions drawn toward the Catholic Church
Baptized Catholics who never received Confirmation or First Eucharist
Children ages 7 – 17 seeking Baptism or full initiation follow an age-appropriate path by contacting our Faith Formation team at baptism@st-therese.org.
