Funerals

When a loved one dies, St. Therese Catholic Church wants to walk with you. A Catholic funeral commends the one we love to the mercy of God, gives thanks for their life, and surrounds the grieving with the hope of the Resurrection. You do not have to navigate this alone.

Begin funeral arrangements

When a loved one dies and the funeral will be at St. Therese Catholic Church, please contact the Parish Office at 952-473-4422 or email funeral@st-therese.org. We will provide pastoral support and begin to make arrangements for the funeral with you.

In an after-hours emergency where you need a priest, call the Parish Office at 952-473-4422 and select option 6.

Funeral luncheons

Our Funeral Lunch Ministry serves luncheons and refreshments after funerals and memorials, so that family and friends can gather, share memories, and be cared for. If you would like a luncheon as part of your loved one’s funeral, we will arrange it with you during planning.

Grief support

Grief does not end with the funeral, and neither does our care. The Consoled by Jesus grief ministry offers caring support in a faithful environment for those who have lost a loved one, including confidential, one-on-one conversation and a prayerful perspective.

To connect, email cbj@st-therese.org or call the Parish Office at 952-473-4422.

Funeral Lunch Ministry: Volunteer

This ministry cares for grieving families by providing meals and hospitality following a funeral, offering comfort and support during a difficult time. Volunteers are always welcome to serve as meal servers and clean-up helpers. This is an occasional commitment that makes a meaningful difference to families when they need it most.

To learn more or to volunteer, contact the Parish Office at 952-473-4422 or email funeralministry@st-therese.org.

If you want to join, please contact us at funeralministry@st-therese.org.
