Volunteer

Everything at St. Therese, every Mass, meal, class, garden row, and cup of coffee, happens because a parishioner gave an hour. Volunteering here is not filling a slot; it is discovering what your hands were made for.

Where help is needed

Hospitality. Coffee & Donuts Sundays, Wine & Cheese Saturdays, and parish events like Mardi Gras and Lenten meals. Seasonal sign-ups are posted on this page and in the bulletin. But why wait? Email volunteeringatsttherese@st-therese.org to get on the list today for events not yet on our website.

Faith Formation. Catechists teach in two-person teams on Wednesday afternoons and evenings; core team members mentor middle and high school youth in small groups. Training and materials provided. Email ffvolunteers@st-therese.org to get involved today.

Liturgy. Altar servers, lectors, greeters and ushers, sacristans, and musicians. See the Ministries page for every role and contact.

Service & outreach. The giving garden, meal packing, breakfast service at Sharing and Caring Hands, and seasonal projects like the Christmas Giving Tree.

Behind the scenes. Office help, bulletin stuffing, grounds care, and event setup.

One requirement first

All adults who will work regularly with or around children, youth, or vulnerable adults must complete Safe Environment requirements (VIRTUS training, background check, and code of conduct) before beginning ministry. Even if you are not yet sure what role you will take, we invite you to complete the training now; see our Safe Environment page.
